The Economist MBA Ranking 2011
Prestigious magazine The Economist has announced MBA ranking 2011. This year, first place went to Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business in the USA. Among the top ten were as many as seven universities in the USA, two from Europe and 1 from Canada. There was no Polish MBA program in this ranking.
Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business is one of the oldest, if not the oldest university offering MBA program.
MBA ranking, "The Economist" is based on the assessment of experts in four categories: new opportunities for development, personal development, increase in salaries and professional contacts.
Below are the top 10 ranking of "The Economist".
First: Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business, USA
Second: University of Chicago Booth School of Business, USA
Third: IMD - International Institute for Management Development, Switzerland
4th: University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, USA
5th: Harvard Business School, USA
6th: California at Berkely University of - Haas School of Business, USA
7th: Columbia Business School, USA
8th: Stanford Graduate School of Business, USA
9th: York University's Schulich School of Business, Canada
10th: IESE Business School University of Navarra, Spain
The biggest surprise of this year's ranking is the position of the MBA program at Harvard University. This year it took fifth place. The European program IMD based in Switzerland took higher position than the Harvard Business School.
